Happy Wedding Wednesday y’all! This wedding was one that I was looking forward to for a long time. Mainly because I had a great couple, great team of vendors, and a seriously amazing venue! And, um, mix in some perfect weather…that’s the recipe for a perfect day. Whenever these wedding gems come up (I think I should coin that phrase, “wedding gems”) …It’s so dang hard to narrow down which images to showcase on the blog. Seriously. I feel like I could go on for days! Katie O’ introduced me to this couple and it was truly a perfect fit! She’s so good like that… If you think about it, it’s kinda like playing match maker. This wedding was held in Vermont at Hildene, the Lincoln family home. I’ve seen images of this venue and I knew it was beautiful… but when I got there, it was more beautiful than I ever expected. I was like a kid in candy shop!

Earlier in the day, I met up with the bride and her bestie as they were being glammed up by glam queen Kaitlin Bray (STRUT. Spalontique). In the morning I always like to start off with the details, and I have to say Jenny C knocked it out of the ball park with this invitation! I am seriously obsessed! You will see their monogrammed logo carried throughout the wedding. Perfection! After our bride was dressed and ready to go, it was time to make our way to the church to get her officially married! The church was really beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed the scenic drive getting there! The ceremony was so sweet and filled with emotion- which I love!

After the ceremony we took some photos in the church parking lot with their vintage car-which was so dreamy! Then we headed over to Hildene where the magic happened….the lighting all day was just out of another world. We spent some time with the bride and groom and family before I headed into the reception tent to photograph the details… The tent was truly spectacular. I loved all the details, the monogram light, menu cards…it was simply perfect! Then bring in my friend DJ Vinny Vin….well, let’s just say if you’re looking for party he’s the guy you want. Seriously. In fact I’m doing a little shoulder shake dance as I’m writing this because this party was that much fun!

Rory and Tom, thank you so much for having me a part of your special day! I hope you enjoy the images as much as I do! Rory, girl you smoked it! Stunning Bride…and Tom had the GQ look all the way!  It was such a pleasure to witness so many sweet moments and be able to document it. I wish you both all the joy your hearts can handle…and more!
