Happy Friday y’all!! Oh my gosh…This shoot made me feel like the luckiest photographer alive! The sunlight combined with my gorgeous clients…I mean, it doesn’t get better than this! I initially met with Catherine and Nick over Skype, so this shoot was the first time I was meeting them in person…and I was so excited! We decided to shoot in the country fields that surrounded Catherine’s parents house. It was the perfect location. When I arrived, Nick was watching football and I was able to catch parts of the Buffalo v. Miami game (Go Bills!) …that was a fantastic game if anyone is wondering! In our initial meeting I learned that these two live in Buffalo- which I think is awesome since I’m a Buffalo Bills fan. Usually football comes up in my initial meetings and I always have to ask which team my clients cheer for… I then learned that Nick played in the NFL. Not for Buffalo, but that’s still pretty cool if you ask me! Catherine and I clicked over home decor -because, well, we’re girls with the same taste! Needless to say, I knew this shoot was going to be a fun one!

I checked out the land before we started and I had a couple spots in mind…but truthfully, there isn’t a bad spot to take photos at this place! These two were naturals in front of the camera. I loved seeing how connected they were…it was so sweet. After they changed into the second outfit, Catherine’s dad so kindly moved so hay stacks for us to use as a prop. Well, that pretty much made my day because those images are some of my favorites. I really had a hard time choosing which images to show because there are so many that are just stunning… Catherine and Nick, thank you so much for choosing me to document such a special time in your lives! It was a true pleasure getting to know you better at the shoot and I can’t wait to see you tie the knot next year!!
