With Valentine’s Day right around the corner I thought it was the perfect opportunity to share some of my favorite wedding photos from 2014! 2014 was filled with amazing highs and thankfully only a couple lows. I am most proud and excited about my first instructional photography book being published (yay!)-yet, my heart was extremely heavy when I lost my grandfather. You see, it was my grandfather who introduced photography to my world when I was a little girl. Today, I wear his camera strap proudly and I am so thankful that he shared his passion with our family. Now that we are a couple months into 2015, this year feels a bit different. I’m not sure this is the most eloquent way to describe how I feel this year… but it’s probably the best description that comes to mind. In the movie The Proposal, Sandra Bullock steps outside onto a dock with a plastic cup filled with shrimp cocktail…after a moment alone she decides to throw the shrimp back in the water and exclaims, “Be free!” (haha!) Now, I’m not comparing my previous years to dead shrimp or anything…but I feel an indescribable sense of freedom in my heart. One that allows me to see more beauty than ever before… a true sense of self. This year marks the fifth anniversary for Tiffany Wayne Photography … looking back on all that I have accomplished thus far really brings a smile to my soul. I never wanted a career growing up… I wanted to be just like my mother, a stay at home mom. She was, and still is, my best friend. She has the kindest heart, and she is so strong and so beautiful! The saying is true, “You make plans and God laughs.” I am thankful that my plan didn’t turn out the way I wanted. While family fills my heart with so much love and joy, photography is truly my passion and I feel so lucky to be able to share that with all of you. In 2015 may you all be surrounded by beauty, light and love… Now, go be like the shrimp …FREE!
XOXO,
Tiffany
