This wedding is so stunning …and elegant …and everything lovely! I have been dreaming of this blog since the day of the wedding! Samantha and Dave are two of the nicest people…truly one of a kind. I remember meeting with them at my house about their wedding and I just loved their energy. Fast forward to their engagement session in Albany and I knew we were a great match! When the wedding day arrived, it was perfectly sunny and just knew it was going to be a perfect day.

I arrived to 60 State where the girls were getting ready. The music filled the air as the girls chatted and laughed… I started off with Samantha’s details…my favorite things to shoot! For me, the details are what help tell the full story. Once those were complete, we snapped a couple candid shots before getting this beautiful bride in her dress. I am beyond obsessed with this Hayley Paige gown….it is so gorgeous!!! I am so in love with the photos of Sam and her mom….such a sweet moment as she helped her daughter clasp her bracelet. Then, oh my goodness….the solo bridal shots in the bridal suite ….wow. Samantha you are stunning!!!! Now that this bride was ready, it was time for first look!

We headed over to the corning preserve bridge where David was waiting… When Sam walked toward him, his reaction was absolutely priceless. We stayed around that area for photos and it worked out perfectly. It was super hot so we tried to make everything as easy as possible. Once we finished up photos, it was time to make this marriage official! We headed back to 60 State for the ceremony. I was truly looking forward to this because following the traditional ceremony, there was a Chinese tea ceremony. This was lovely…. The ceremony was intimate and personal and truly an honor to be a part of.

Afterwards, the guests headed downstairs for cocktail hour and the room upstairs was being flipped for the party! The flowers and decor were so elegant- it stopped dead in my tracks to just pause and look around. And the cake!! It was the most beautiful cake I’ve ever seen….. the painted gold detail with the mix of color was simply remarkable. One of my favorite moments of the evening was when Samantha shared a dance with her grandfather….I must admit, my eyes were swelling with a couple tears as I shot that moment…. Samantha and Dave, thank you, thank you, thank you for choosing me to celebrate such a special day in your life. May you always be surrounded by joy, laughter, and all things love. Congratulations!!!
