So….. where in the world is TWP?!?! At least that’s the question I ask myself lately! And, if you follow me on social media, you may be asking the same thing. But! I’m back on the blog to catch you up to speed…because TWP has been anything but quiet over the last couple months! It really all started in October… and I truly feel like now, the beginning of March I can take a deep breath! Aside from shooting several beautiful weddings (which are highlighted below) I was hosting my first ever photography workshop, making some new fun friends at the Photo Plus Expo in NYC, hanging out with my Fundy Designer family, keeping up with writing deadlines for my second instructional photography book….and Y’all…. that was just October! November and December were just as busy…weddings every weekend, including a beautiful West Point military wedding! Engagement sessions, family sessions, maternity sessions, styled shoots! Jammed packed. And I loved every second of it.

I have to say of all my time spent this winter, some of my most cherished moments were spent with family-Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years…and of course my cousins wedding in Austin, TX! As many of you already know, my family means the world to me. We have an unbreakable bond despite our busy schedules and the miles that sometimes come between us. I love that about us. I love that we are unbreakable. In December, I was reminded just how precious life truly is when we laid to rest my Grandfather, Bob. He was the husband of my late Grandma Amoroso, Anna Marie. Bob absolutely adored my grandma. He sang her songs, cleaned the house, framed her paintings, brought her flowers every week- even after she was gone. He was everything to her. I am thankful that they are now together once again in a place of peace. As our family sat together in prayer, we were reminded that every day is a gift. That no matter what life brings us, as long as we have each other and God, we will make it through just fine. We were reminded to pray about everything and worry about nothing. Because after all, you never know what tomorrow will bring. We were reminded to be present, to love unconditionally, to support and encourage one another…but most of all, we were reminded that we can always count on each other.

I thought now would be the perfect time to showcase a recap of my winter season in photos. I grabbed a handful of images from my sessions just so you can see all the beauty that was in front of me over the past couple of months. Because the truth is…Life is beautiful.
