It feels so good to be back on the blogging bandwagon. Even though I didn’t really stop, it felt like I did with all the new changes and new website. This wedding… wow. From the decor to the dancing, it was really spectacular. In fact at times I felt like I was in a movie! New York City couple Parminder and Michael have the best style…just wait until you scroll down!
I met up with the girls in the early afternoon at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Saratoga. I love shooting getting ready photos in this hotel- mainly because of the natural light and the room decor is pretty neutral (which makes a big difference in my opinion!) The girls started the party early with some good tunes and drinks! Everyone was pretty relaxed as the hair and makeup team worked their glam on each girl. I must say, I’ve been feeling pretty blessed…all these girls were looking like models! After I finished up photographing the details, it was time to get bride Parminder in her dress! As a big fan of “Say Yes to the Dress” I was pretty excited to learn that her gown came from Kleinfeld’s Bridal! Woo hoo! Once this beauty was ready to go, we headed over to Saratoga National where she would see her groom for the First Look.
Michael was glowing like no other groom I’ve seen before… it was so sweet! As she walked up toward him he turned around and just wrapped her up in his arms! Not too long after, we hopped on some golf carts and headed out onto the golf course for portraits. The sun was shining and it was gorgeous. There was a little bit of wind, but in some strange way I found it to be romantic. After we finished up with portraits it was time to get ready for the ceremony. When I walked into the tent at Saratoga National, I felt my jaw drop. There were chandeliers, candles, and this huge chuppah-like structure made of flowers. It was magical. And if that wasn’t enough-the groom’s father was the officiant! So, so special.
After a heartfelt ceremony, it was time to get the party started! When I said I felt like I was in a movie, it was because of all the dance moves I witnessed! At one point I wondered, “Are they all on a dance team”…I mean seriously, I could’ve been in a music video! All in all, the day was one I’ll never forget…. Parminder and Michael, thank you so much for allowing me to capture such a special time in your life. May you future be filled with nothing but joy and love… congratulations!!!
With Love,
Tiffany
