Hi, I'm TIFFANY

I have been working on this blog for about two weeks and I keep getting stuck… because this time, the bride is my best friend. It’s hard to write a blog when your eyes swell with tears! Get. It. Together. Tiffany. Ok, I think I’m good. As you can probably tell, this wedding means a lot to me… I knew Megan from High School, but it wasn’t until much later in life that we became close friends. We both moved out to California around the same time- I headed to Los Angles and Megan went to San Diego. We both adopted adorable dogs while on the West Coast, and then, moved back to New York  a couple years later. We were in our late 20’s when we reconnected back in Clifton Park. We bonded over sushi and wine- sharing our West coast stories, our obsession with our fur baby dogs, and love of Pottery Barn and Homegoods. It was the perfect start to an amazing friendship. Over the years we helped each other decorate with every new place we called home, celebrated our 30th birthdays together, offered advice when needed, and never turned down an opportunity for sushi and wine.

When the wedding day arrived, I was so psyched to see my girl! In true Megan fashion, she already had some funny stories about her morning…which included getting lost on her morning  jog and hitching a ride from an old man to drive her back to the wedding venue. It’s stories like those that make me love this girl even more! We laughed and chatted while our other friend, Michelle, was working on her hair and then it hit me… this is really happening!!! She looked gorgeous. I couldn’t wait to see Brent’s reaction…. and just as i expected, he was beaming. Just a few nights before Meg and I were texting about songs that she can walk down the aisle to….I suggested one of her favorites, the instrumental version of “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perry. She loved my suggestion – but oh my gosh, when it was time for the ceremony I was totally tearing up behind my camera. It was probably a good thing I was the photographer, because if I wasn’t I would’ve been a crying mess. The ceremony was performed by one of their friends and kept Megan and Brent laughing the entire time… it was so special because it was so them.

We finished up with photos and started to get ready for introductions. Megan, who is fully aware of my love for emotional moments, kept shying away from my camera as she danced with Brent and her dad. It was really cute… After toasts, I was able to relax. I have to give a special thanks to my assistant Chelsea- because of her I was able to change and enjoy myself as a guest for the rest of the evening. Thank you for taking such good care of my friends Chelsea!!

It really was a special day, one that I will always remember. Megan and Brent, I am so honored to have captured such a special time in your life….but even more honored to call you friends. I love you guys so much!!

With Love,
Tiffany

These are the most beautiful wedding pictures that I’ve seen, I might be just a bit biased because the subject matter is my beautiful niece and her husband but I was moved to tears when I saw the picture of her Dad when he sees her for the first time as a bride.
