Hi friends! Happy Wednesday! Ohhh this couple… I just love them! Monica and Steve…They are the couple that laughs at their own jokes and isn’t afraid to get silly. They are the couple that after the camera is put away- they pull each other in a little closer and hug a little tighter. I love that. A connection so great that when you’re in their presence you can’t do anything but smile! I remember when I first met with Monica and Steve- we laughed. A lot. I felt like I knew them for years! When chatting about their engagement session, they had a couple locations in mind…starting off at the Slingerlands Firehouse and then Normanside Country Club. Normanside is so beautiful-and the food is outstanding!!!

On the day of the shoot, the weather was beautiful! We started a couple hours before sunset for the best lighting-and boy was the light on point!!! It was really cool to see firehouse – and we had a bunch of fun! After we finished up the first part of the shoot, we headed over to Normanside. We hopped on a couple of golf carts and stopped at a tall grassy field where the colors were looking brilliant! I also learned that these two love Notre Dame -you know, the Fighting Irish. So, before the shoot was over we had to incorporate some ND elements!

Monica and Steve, thank you so much for taking time out of your day to let me photograph you! I had so much fun getting to know you better – and I’m so excited to watch you tie-the-knot next year! Congratulations!!!
