It’s no secret that I spent the past few months down South….First Florida, then I made my way to Shreveport, Louisiana! I was hoping for some nice relaxing warm weather, but apparently Mother Nature had other ideas! I can’t say the weather was much nicer than Upstate New York! On one of the colder days, I had the privilege of working with some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met…Truly. The group consisted of Micaela and her boys, Omar and Julian… and Clint with his children Parker, Daisy, Lauren and her new hubby Braxton! Next to my sister’s home, there was an open field that was perfect for a family shoot! The light was absolutely stunning and we all know I’m a sucker for a pretty country setting!

I started off the session with Clint and his family. Despite the chilly weather, everyone was ready with a smile on their face! We did a few combinations with the family and I love the results! It wasn’t long before Micaela and her boys arrived! Micaela, Omar, and Julian have been in front of my camera lens before so it was fun to work with them again! These boys are super talented soccer players and I always enjoy watching kick the ball around with my nephews! After the family photos were captured, it was time to get Micaela and Clint together! When it was their turn to get in front of my camera I felt like I was watching a love story unfold right before my eyes! These two were glowing…BRIGHT! They laughed, held each other tight…and truly reflected a light that can only come from above. It was a treat to witness such a genuine happiness.

To Micaela, Clint and the gang- Thank you so much for spending part of your afternoon with me…May the road ahead bring nothing but greater joy, blessings and an abundance of His grace.
