Happy Wedding Wednesday, y’all! Steph and Darren had a gorgeous fairytale inspired wedding at the stunning Lord Thompson Manor in Thompson CT and I’m so thrilled to be sharing it on the blog today! This beautiful wedding day was an elegant affair filled with personal touches to celebrate Steph and Darren’s love story. When I talked with Steph and Darren, it became clear how in love they were and how much they wanted their wedding day photos to reflect that pure happiness. We focused on making sure we captured candid memories of their day (like we do for all of our couples!) to make sure they would always remember the joy that their wedding day held.

Lord Thompson Manor was a wonderful venue for their wedding day and they helped with so much leading up to the day – from planning, to a delicious dinner, and even some of the beautiful desserts. The girls started their day getting ready at the Cottage House while the guys got ready at Lord Thompson Manor. Steph sent Darren a gift to celebrate their day before their first look! It’s always so sweet when couples exchange gifts on their big day! Before we knew it, we were off to their first look. Their first look was so special. I never keep it together when brides and grooms get to see each other for the first time!! Steph’s beautiful gown and veil were the perfect look for a romantic, elegant wedding day! That girl has taste!

Steph and Darren opted for a gorgeous outdoor ceremony under a beautiful arbor on the property. Following their ceremony, we headed back to the main house for their reception. I loved that their toasts were given on the balcony of the manor! How fun is that? Before their first dance, Steph slipped away and changed into her second dress (uh, yes!!!) for the rest of the reception. The two dance the night away with their family and friends – the perfect way to end their special day!
