Michaeal and Michael had a gorgeous Troy, New York wedding day at Brown’s Revolution Hall. If you’ve never been to Revolution Hall, you’re missing out! This unique venue in Troy used to be a concert hall – which was actually one of the reasons Michaela and Michael chose to be married here. While the two were dating, they spent a lot of time at concerts in Brooklyn and Michael actually saw Michaela’s brother play at Revolution Hall before they started dating. Understandably, they also told me that a band at their reception was non-negotiable given their history! The happy couple wanted to create a beautiful wedding day full of lots of fun and dancing for their guests and that’s exactly what they did!
The day began with the ladies getting ready at the Renaissance Hotel and the guys prepping at the best man’s house. There was tons of laughing already going on when I arrived and it was clear everyone was ready to have an amazing day! Michaela had a gorgeous two piece wedding gown and the skirt overlay was just perfect. After the ladies helped her get into her dress, we took some quick portraits outside of the wedding party before heading to the church where Michaela had a first look with her dad. Michaela’s dad and Michaela had an emotional first look that had everyone in tears before the wedding ceremony. It’s moments like those that make me so grateful that I’m able to capture such incredible special memories for my clients.
Before heading to Revolution Hall, I stole the bride and groom away for some classic wedding portraits near the church. While I snapped away, the guests entered the reception space at Revolution Hall to find a gorgeous industrial reception filled with blush and gold details. As always, Bisou Weddings & Events nailed it!! Michael and Michaela had a beautiful first dance with the band playing and I can only hope they were thrilled to see their wedding day dreams coming true.
Michaela and Michael, thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful day. It was so special and full of so many incredible moments. I wish you two nothing but the best!!
