Ahhhh! This shoot!!! I’m so in love. A few weeks ago Emina asked me if I would photograph a lifestyle editorial for her company, Tressmerize (a hair extension company for women). I love Emina’s style and knew right away this was going to be an amazing shoot. It was even more special when she said it would be with her family-husband Edin, and son Aidan. Folks, this family can werk. That’s right, I said it! W.E.R.K. (Yes, Dad, I intentionally spelled that wrong!) Having them in front of my camera was so much fun. I felt like I was working with agency models! I really loved the movement I was able to capture with Emina’s hair- Ahh yay!! Also, I have to give a special shout out to my girl Kaitlin Bray (owner of STRUT. Spalontique) for her talented makeup skills…ah-mazing as usual!

I met up with everyone at the newly renovated Renaissance Hotel in downtown Albany…which, by the way, is spectacular and you should definitely check it out if you haven’t already! It was pretty cold outside for October-but we didn’t let that drag us down one bit! We found a bunch of cool spots to shoot as we walked around town- definitely captured that urban vibe perfectly. I really couldn’t have asked for a better shoot- I just love these images! Emina, Edin, and Aidan- thank you all so much for taking time out of your day to let me photograph you.
