Technology. Schmecknology. I was never one to dive deep into that world…doesn’t that seem ironic? But, I’m proud to say that has changed in some ways. For the past 11 months I have been trying to figure out my new normal as a single mom and business owner. Well, Stella Tiffany got her groove back! I’ve discovered so much about myself and what I am able to accomplish with a little help. Yes, help! I began to give up a little control in my business which has allowed me to spend more time with my daughter, grow my brand – all while maintaining my core values and mission. I’ve learned to shift my mindset and allow myself to focus on creating.  And with every passing week, I can visually see I am one step closer to achieving my big, BIG goals. It’s honestly a breath of fresh air. I can feel it in ma bones– kinda like a bird that is starting to hatch. So, with a big ol’ high five to technology and my amazing team of boss ladies – let’s dive in to the TWP App Awards.

1.) Slack. Ummm how did I ever live without this app? Here in one space I am able to message my team, upload content, review our weekly goals, share wedding day timelines etc….. but most of all, it keeps me organized!! No more searching my email inbox for conversations! Hallelujah! I literally live on this app.

2.) Dubsado. THIS… Game changer. It’s the prettiest CRM system I’ve ever seen. Not to mention it’s totally user friendly! We all know that I love all pretty things and easy technology. Within this system I am able to track my leads, jobs, finances – pretty much everything you need in order to run a business…. And can I take a minute to acknowledge the customer service? Available 24-7 – which for me is a huge plus since I work odd hours and can be super impatient. (I’m working on my patience level -promise !) Interested in signing up? 3.) Instagram. (Duh.) This is my creative space when I don’t have a camera (or baby) in my hands. Instagram allows me to share details of my life, business, and sources of inspiration in an intimate, yet curated, fashion. I love making my grid look pretty! It makes up for the fact that I’m in yoga pants and no makeup 5-7 days a week! The best part? I get to connect with all of you! It’s my favorite place to scroll before bed. 4.) Waze. I’m on the road a lot- so this app helps with finding my way around. Being late is not an option for me -so, I love the accuracy this app. It’s a definite bonus to know if there is a hazard, cop, or anything that would effect my travel time.

5.) Dark Sky. This one is huge. Since a lot of my sessions are booked outside, the weather has to be just right. This app will send an alert to my phone saying “light rain starting in 3 minutes” – and it’s dead on. Every. Time. So, if I’m trying to beat a storm- this app becomes my bible!
