Happy Friday friends! What do you get when you combine a beautiful bride, a handsome groom, and some spectacular light? A super exciting TWP wedding blog! The past few weeks in upstate New York have been incredibly warm for this time of year, so I was pretty excited that the weather wouldn’t be too freezing…..

Last year Melissa and Gavin entered my Ugly Holiday Sweater competition- and after seeing their outfits for the competition I knew these two had a great sense of humor! Needless to say, I was looking forward to their wedding because they are so much fun! I arrived at Glen Sanders where the girls were getting all made up by the talented Make Me Fabulous team. There were a lot of laughs and the energy in the room was simply fantastic! When I saw Melissa’s dress, it reminded me of royalty!! It was breathtaking!! Then, seeing her in it all I could think was wow. We got set up for the first look and Gavin’s reaction was so adorable….hands clasped in front of his face, it was awesome! After a few portraits at Glen Sanders we headed over to Union College. That campus has so much to offer for portraits, I need to go there more often!

After photos, we walked across the street to Saint John’s where these two would officially become husband and wife! I love that church- it’s so pretty. Following their nuptials, we went back across the street for some sunset photos. The light was simply incredible. It also helped that these two were nonstop smiles and laughter…pure love!

The reception was filled with great dancing….and even some singing by some of the kiddos who were in attendance. Melissa and Gavin, thank you both so much for choosing me to capture such a special time in your life. I wish you both all the happiness in the world- now and always! Congratulations!!
