Happy Friday friends!! Friday always seems to put a smile on everyone’s face…so I thought, why not make your smile a little brighter with a new wedding blog!!! This wedding was close to my heart because I’ve known this couple for a few years. As the wedding day approached I couldn’t wait to celebrate with them and their families! In fact, you may recognize one of the bridesmaids, Matt’s sister Caitlin, she was a TWP bride! I love when I get to work with families multiple times…it’s that much more special!

I met up with the girls getting ready at Matt and Maggie’s house. Everyone was filled with excitement and a couple sweet tears were shed! Love was in the air for sure! When I got started with the details, I was smiling ear to ear with Maggie’s choice of shoes….bright neon running sneakers! You go girl! Matt and Maggie are big runners and I can’t think of a better way to incorporate something you love into your wedding day! After gorgeous bride Maggie was dressed, it was time to head to the corning preserve in Albany for the first look!

When we arrived, Matt was so excited and I could not wait to see both their reactions. As expected, they were seriously the most adorable couple ever!!! The joy and excitement continued throughout the entire portrait session-ahh-mazing! After some time passed, we photographed the bridal party and family members. What an awesome backdrop!

Despite the sun shining bright, the wind made the day pretty chilly. We quickly finished photos and got the group over to St. Pius. It was time to warm up and get ready for the ceremony! As always, Father Walsh delivered a beautifully personal ceremony. Matt and Maggie were beaming with happiness….truly. And Maggie’s walk down the aisle- she was so graceful! It was the prettiest walk I’ve ever seen. That probably sounds weird to mention, but it’s true!

After the ceremony, we headed up to Longfellows in Saratoga. We didn’t have much of a golden sunset-but that didn’t stop me! We grabbed a couple photos around the property before it was time to cut loose! The bridal party rocked bright sunglasses as well as Matt and Maggie for their entrance… a Tribute to the Color Me Rad races (I think!) Either way, everyone looked awesome!
