Happy Tuesday my friends! My gosh. It’s hard to find the words to start off with this one…. Mainly because of the history with this family and their amazing circle of friends! I’ve shot two other weddings within this family and also the bride’s best friend…remember Kara and Zach from August?! So needless to say, I love this group of people so much!!! Each wedding was so over the top with love and good vibes- so, naturally I couldn’t wait to be surrounded by everyone again! I have to say, I feel so honored and humbled to be able to capture yet another beautiful event …thank you.

This wedding took place at a very special location…the family Cottage on Cayuga Lake.  I drove up the night before to make sure I got my beauty rest before the big day! On the morning of the wedding, I was so excited to see what everything looked like!! I remember pulling into the driveway and instantly thinking, “Wow this is picture perfect!!”  I met up with the girls in the main cottage (yes, there are several) and they were sitting around laughing and chatting…..see! Good vibes!!! The girls gifted beautiful bride Katie a scrapbook of memories and personally written letters…. What a sweet gift! The weather was looking great, but then suddenly a couple gray clouds rolled over us-and it began to rain! BUT! It stopped. Thank God for that! After Katie got in her gorgeous dress, we brought in her Father… that made my heart swell. Then the girls handed Katie her gift from Tim. When she opened up the first envelope, Tim had a card inside for each bridesmaid. Major props, Tim, for thinking of your (soon-to-be) Wifey’s besties! I loved how Katie’s card was in the shape of a heart… that just made it even more adorable! Oh but just wait. So there was this gorgeous Tiffany’s bracelet (which I loved)….but THEN she opened up a journal. A journal that Tim wrote in every day since they were engaged. ONE YEAR. Every. Day. I was choking back a major ugly cry. Then! Katie pointed out in the first entry Tim wrote, “We got our wedding photographer, Tiffany- awesome!” I felt so cool in that moment. LOL. But enough about me. It was time for the first look!!! What a moment! Family and friends watched from a distance and I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!

We took the bride and groom around this gorgeous property …The love these two share is off the charts. After portraits it was time to get these two hitched! The ceremony was sweet and intimate- and you can’t beat a setting on the lake! Following the ceremony, there was a champagne toast on the lawn and then guests were escorted to cocktail hour. The reception tent was like a dream! Chandeliers, foliage, farm style tables, copper Moscow mule mugs (that were made custom from Mexico with the date and fingers lakes engraved), candles. etc… I could go on and on! It was gorgeous!!! So maybe I should just let the photos take it away from here! Katie and Tim, thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to capture such an incredible time in your life!
