A few months ago my friend Amanda reached out asking to schedule a family session. Family sessions are always super special, but this one was extra special for a couple reasons- It was doubling as a Mother’s Day and a Happy Anniversary gift! Her parents are celebrating 40 years of marriage! How amazing is that?!? They chose Thacher Park because her parents used to go there frequently for walks-so it just made perfect sense! Plus, it’s beautiful! The weather was ideal- sunny and warm. We walked around the park including Indian Ladder trail- I think I had 18 heart attacks being so close to the edge of a cliff! It was all well worth-but my knees are shaking remembering it!!! I love working with Amanda’s family –they know how to keep each other laughing! Little Simon was absolutely adorable-he kept picking up dandelions and was so proud to carry the flower around. It was so sweet.  It’s been such an honor to capture Amanda and her family during such special occasions –Starting with their engagement, then wedding, newborn, and now the entire family!
