I remember sitting in the club house at Saratoga Race Track when Caitlin told me she met “the one.” I remember we pulled up my calendar right then and there and looked at available dates… I can’t believe that was over a year ago. Now, here we are celebrating in pictures not only their marriage…but a real life fairytale. Ever since I’ve known Caitlin she has been in love with all things Disney …so I knew her wedding would be fit for a princess! And it was… But beyond all the beautiful Disney inspired details, there was something even more magical that’s really hard to put in to words… their love. Ok, I know you’re thinking, “Tiffany, obviously they love each other because they’re getting married!” But just saying they love each other doesn’t really explain it…. Nick looks at Caitlin like every woman dreams. They laugh like crazy, hold each other tight, and kiss each other like they’re the stars in their own fairytale. And truly, they are….a real life fairytale. They share a passion for music, Harry Potter, Disney, and being silly! All I kept thinking throughout their wedding day is how inspiring their love is… a reminder that the fairytale does exist. I started out the day with the girls getting ready at Caitlin’s childhood home. It was so special to be there to witness all the excitement and even some tears of joy! One of my favorite moments in the morning was when Caitlin’s brothers got to see her for the first time…so precious. After some photos at the house it was time to head over to the church. I was so looking forward to the ceremony because the Saint Pius choir was singing… I had goose bumps the entire time! As Caitlin was handed off to Nick, her dad’s eyes welled up as he watched them walk up to the altar. Nick. Was. Beaming. He leaned toward Caitlin’s face with the biggest grin…almost like he wanted to immediately kiss her but knew he couldn’t… it was priceless. Truly a beautiful ceremony. After they were pronounced husband and wife we headed to their home for some portraits…I thought it was so special that they wanted to take some pictures in their yard! Now, knowing Caitlin’s obsession with princesses, and because I’m not well versed in Princess knowledge…I studied before this wedding. I wanted to incorporate a princess pose into their wedding photos! I thought of Sleeping Beauty since Nick proposed after hiking up Sleeping Beauty Mountain. I remember in the fairytale Sleeping Beauty took a bite of a poisonous apple…after a kiss with a prince she awakened and they lived happily ever after! (Ok, that was the intense short version, but you get where I’m going with that!) Anyway, it just so happened that Caitlin and Nick had an apple tree in their yard…it was the perfect set up for this image…I was soooo excited!! After we finished up with those images we headed to the Century House for a couple more pictures before the party got started! I loved how Caitlin and Nick entered to the theme of Ghost Busters! It was so perfect…so them. The party was so fun…and photobooth was a huge hit! In fact, click on the link below to access all the photobooth images! Caitlin and Nick, I can’t thank you and your families enough for inviting me to share in your fairytale wedding…it was truly an honor. May your love continue to grow and inspire others as you embark on this new journey as Prince and Princess…aka husband and wife! Love you!!! Tiffany
