I can’t believe my 2011 wedding season is over! What an amazing year it has been! Bringing in the New Year by photographing a wedding was just the icing on the cake! This blog entry is one of my all time favorites! In fact the entire wedding day experience will go down in the books as one of the best of the year! Working with an All-Star team of vendors made the day even more FUN!!! I was really pumped to see this venue, The Crooked Lake House (formerly The Old Daley Inn). They recently went through a remodel and I’ve heard nothing but fabulous reviews! When I arrived to the venue I literally, and I mean literally, jumped up and down as I toured all the rooms. I was on creative overload. That was the beginning a my day. I knew it was going to be good. I met up with bride Amanda in the upstairs suite where she was getting ready with bridesmaid Kris Ann Elario. A lot of you may recognize her name because she owns Fleurtacious Designs-just wait until you see what her team put together for this wedding! Amazing! I was also greeted with a smile from Alayne Curtiss from Make Me Fabulous who was in charge of getting the ladies all glam! Also, Fellow makeup artist Erin Marzilli was spotted filming some video of the glam girls getting ready! Lot’s of fun vendors! Let’s start checking out these images, shall we?
Beautiful bride!
Love this.
Kris Ann getting Amanda all dressed up!
Love my little model bride!
Meanwhile, the guys were getting their GQ on in the downstairs lounge. Love this next shot Molly grabbed. You can see the groom on the right while his son is getting his collar fixed in the mirror reflection.
Meet the handsome groom John!
Love this little kissing ball for the flower girl!
Time for the first look! We lucked out with great weathernot too cold! Look how excited he looks!
Love!
This next shot wasn’t planned but there is something about it that I love!
Stunning..
Love!
It started to get a little chilly, so I decided to take this beautiful couple inside for some shots.. Definitely some of my favorites of the whole day!
Before we knew it, it was time to make it official!
And then the party was to begin! Vinny from NonStop Music rocked, and I mean ROCKED the house all night-But first, check out these details!
In lieu of a cake, Amanda and John had a cupcake tower!
Love how proud Amanda’s father looks!
Nothing beats the love between a mother and her son.
Just to the left of the dance floor we had a photo booth going all night with my former intern, Jennie! Special thanks to photographer extraordinaire/groomsman JP Elario for letting me borrow his setup! Gotta love this vintage backdrop from Drop It Modern!
Vinny counting down the time until 2012! 3..2.1..
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
Amanda and John, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your special day! It was truly a night to remember. I wish you both nothing but love, peace, grace, good health and LOTS of laughter in the coming years!!! Congratulations and cheers to a fabulous 2012!!!!
PS: For those of you that know JP Elario, not only is he a talented photographer, but he also is a very talented dancer. I witnessed his moves at this wedding! You may (or may not have) noticed that he uses one word a lot to describe something CRAZY (the good kind) .CRAY. What is CRAY? Apparently there is an official rapper definition and it’s technically spelled “Kray”-but I’m a choir singing church girl and I’m still trying to figure it all out. But, I thought this may help explain the definition.. Turn the volume up to this little video and get CRAY like JP! (Warning: The music to the following video clip contains offensive language, so please turn the volume down if you are near children or easily offended!)
