Where to start with this one! I love engagement shoots because it’s such a fun way to learn more about the bride and groom to be! What’s super special with this particular couple is I know the groom! I went to High School with him and we even were a part of the same Bible Camp when we were much younger. It’s always cool to work with people I know…I love finding out where their journey in life has taken them. And, well, Tom’s journey led him to beautiful Shawn. I mean she’s really, really stunning. Just wait til you see the pictures below! Total model couple!! When I learned about Tom’s proposal at Yono’s- it was so perfect for them! He had the piano player cover David Gray’s song, “This Years Love” as he got down on one knee… soooo romantic and sweet! Now, every time I hear that song I think of them! We decided to shoot in Albany and started off in Washington Park…can you believe that was my first time at Washington Park?? It was awesome! Reminded me a bit of Central Park in New York-but obviously on a much smaller scale. After we finished up there we headed to a rooftop off of Chapel Street- holy perfection! The sun was setting against the skyline and it was a photographers dream spot! Below you will find some of my favorites from the session…. it was so hard to narrow them down for the blog! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! As always leave a little love in the comment box below! Tom and Shawn, thank you so much for spending part of your day with me! I can’t wait to see you tie-the-knot next year! YAY!!!
xoxo,
Tiffany
