Hey Everyone! Happy Tuesday! Boy, I am so excited to be back on the blog! I went down South for a mid-season recharge and when I got back, I hit the ground running! Today I am featuring Josh and Kat’s beautiful Troy wedding! Whenever I meet with my couples, it always makes me smile when we instantly connect! That is exactly how I felt with these two love birds! Not only are we both Buffalo Bills fans, but their venue was the same place my sister got married! Needless to say, I have a soft spot for Franklin Plaza.

When the wedding day arrived, I met up with the girls and the house was filled with happy energy! As always I got started with the details-my favorite way to start shooting a wedding! Spending time with the details gets my creative juices flowing! Plus I love seeing all the fun accessories…what girl wouldn’t?! I was completely in awe with Kat’s blush colored wedding dress! The detail and the open back on the gown was truly stunning. And, the sparkle on the shoes?!!? Perfection. It wasn’t long before Kat was dressed in her gown and ready for photos! We took some around the property before heading over to the church. I was so excited to get this day started!

When I got to the church, Josh and his boys were hanging out in the back room. After saying a quick hello, it was time to get these two married! The ceremony was so sweet and personal. There were a lot of laughs and some really touching moments… Following the ceremony, it was time for photos with the newlyweds and their bridal party! We headed over to RPI, which has by far the most stunning campus I’ve ever seen! This group was so much fun to capture! Everyone was happy and excited to party with Josh and Kat…and I was, too!!

When we got to Franklin Plaza, the room was drop dead gorgeous. The flowers…oh my goodness…wow. I couldn’t take pictures fast enough! When the party got started, it was so clear that Josh and Kat have touched so many lives with their friendship. Seriously! The room was packed with close to 300 guests and every single one of them was beaming with a smile. Kat and Josh, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your special day. It was so much fun!!!
