Hi friends!! September is always a beautiful month to get married! The weather is not too hot, not too cold…. and the sun is still setting later in the day. I have to say, this wedding was truly one of a kind! Today’s wedding feature is with Audra and Barry. I absolutely adore them… and after spending more time with these two at their engagement session I was even more excited for their wedding! Now, most of you know how much I cherish my new found friendship with my clients. Leading up to the wedding I would get text messages from Audra that truly made me feel like I’ve known her for years! Her sense of humor and design taste are right on point with my own! I love that about her!

I met up with the girls at the Lakota Farms bridal suite. They had the best energy and I was ready to jump right in for the day! Jen and Chris from True Grace were in charge of glamming this bridal squad – anyone who knows these two can attest to their fun personalities that keep everyone laughing and excited! After Audra got in her gown, she wanted to share a moment with her soon-to-be hubby! Without seeing each other, they wanted to hold hands before their vows…this was such a sweet moment and I just loved Audra’s reaction. So sweet and real. One of my favorite moments was when all of Audra’s girls surrounded her for a quick prayer… This was so touching and special.

We headed down to the ceremony site where Audra would arrive via horse and carriage. Truly an entrance for a princess! They had a tree ceremony that was so sentimental. They collected dirt from their family members homes and places that were meaningful to them…then they mixed in the dirt around a new baby tree that will grow at their home. How sweet is that?! After the ceremony we spent some time for portraits and then it was time to get this party started! From start to finish it was a beautiful day….one I will always remember.

Audra and Barry, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your special day. I wish you both an abundance of blessings now and always.
