After a weekend out of town shooting and some techy blog updates, I am so happy to finally share Meghan and Donnie’s wedding with you! Starting off the month of August, I couldn’t have been more excited to be working with such a great couple. The morning of their wedding I remember thinking,”Oh my goodness it is perfectly sunny outside!” (then I think I did some version of a happy sunshine dance!) I started off the day with the girls in the bridal suite at Mohawk River Country Club. That room is so pretty for getting ready photos. The girls were pretty mellow when I arrived and were happily chatting about the fun memories from the night before. After spending some time shooting the details, it was time to get this beautiful bride dressed!
The first look took place right under a tree at MRCC, perfectly shaded for the best light! I love seeing the reaction of a bride and groom during first look….and let me tell ya, these two were all smiles! After the first look we hopped in my car and strolled around Riverview Road. We found some great spots for photos and I am just lovingggg these two in front of my lens! Once we finished portraits, it was time for Meghan to see her Grandfather (aka Poppy)…that moment gave me chills. It was so sweet! We headed over to the ceremony site where it was time to make it all official!
A short and sweet ceremony followed by the most memorable exit. Ever. After they said ‘I Do’ Meghan and Donnie danced down the aisle to “Everybody Dance Now!” See what I mean?! These two are so fun!! The party continued with introductions and parent dances. Then, of course, I had to take advantage of the amazing sunset – so off we went for some sunset portraits. Perfect golden light! The hardest part of the evening was saying good night to the bride and groom… Meghan was so cute and became teary as she was thanking me for a great day. That touched my heart so much! Meghan and Donnie, thank you so much for choosing me to capture your special day…it was truly beautiful and I love seeing you two laugh when you’re together. Below are some of my favorites from the day- as always, leave a little love in the comment box below. Congratulations!!
With love,
Tiffany
