Ahhh! This wedding…..this couple!!! Jess and Cody…the two most in love people ever! I’m pretty sure they would sell out the box office with their very own Romantic Comedy movie. Not kidding. I remember photographing them back in July for their engagement session …and that feels like yesterday! How is it possible that it’s the week of Thanksgiving. Wow! Nevertheless, I am embracing this holiday season as the year comes to an end…I have one wedding left before I can officially close out the 2015 season.

At our final meeting, Jess was saying that all she wanted on her wedding day was sun and tiny little flecks of snow. Don’t you know, on the drive up to Saratoga it started to flurry?! How incredible. I couldn’t wait to see Jess because I wanted to know if she saw the snow! It was a beautiful day- cold, but beautiful.  The talented team of girls from Alexandria’s Beauty Salon were in full on glam mode! Everyone was looking amazing! I always start off with detail shots and when I saw Jess’s dress I was in awe. It had a blush colored layer that was just stunning…. I loved it! As my beautiful bride began to put on her dress tears of excitement were flowing! Such a special moment. I couldn’t wait to see how Cody would react!

I headed over to our first look location at the Hall of Springs. During the first look reveal, these two were so excited…and only a few happy tears were shed. Priceless moment for sure. We got right into portraits – and I must say, the wind all afternoon was phenomenal! It worked in our favor for sure… the movement in the dress and bouquet ribbon was perfectly on point!

After portraits, it was time to get these two married! We headed over to the Saratoga Hilton were the ballroom was transformed beautifully. After a short and sweet ceremony these two were ready to party! One of my favorite moments was when the guests held up their favor lights as Jess and Cody shared their first dance as husband and wife. How special is that?!! Jess and Cody thank you so much for choosing me to capture such a special moment in your life…it was truly unforgettable. May your lives be rich with blessings, good health, and much love for the coming years! Congratulations!!
