Last week I had the pleasure of photographing bride and groom-to-be, Rory and Tom. Leading up to their session the weather was kinda iffy- but I am so thankful that the sun decided to come out and play! Troy is very special to this couple, so it made perfect sense to photograph their engagement around the city. I met up with the couple on 1st Street near Sage college for a quick warm up before we went to the locations of their choice. When Rory stepped out of the car, I was thinking- “Woah! She looks gorgeous!!!” Then Tom stepped out of the car with his pinstripe jacket and pocket square and I was like, “This feels like a magazine shoot!” Love their style! I instantly knew we were going to have a great shoot.
After snapping a few quick shots we headed over to Oakwood Cemetery. This was my first time at Oakwood so I was unsure of what to expect. As we pulled up to the cemetery it all made sense… there was this gorgeous stone structure that was a perfect backdrop for photos. I was so pumped to discover a new location to shoot! We spent a good 45 minutes at Oakwood before heading over to Troy Country Club. Another new spot for me! We hopped on some golf carts and drove around the course. These two are so cute together! I can’t wait to see them tie the knot! Below are some of my favorites from our shoot- as always leave a little love in the comment form below! Rory and Tom, thank you so much for taking time out of your day to let me photograph you. I loved spending time with you and I can’t wait until the big day!
