Ahh! I seriously have the best job. I meet the most amazing people… and I genuinely can say that love what I do. And I don’t take it lightly. It is an honor to be chosen as the artist that documents the love two people share. Truly an honor. When I first met with Antonette and Daniel, I felt like we instantly clicked. Antonette and I are so similar… and I love feeling like we’ve been friends for a long time! This couple lives in Brooklyn and I’m slightly jealous that they have anything and everything minutes from their doorstep! The city is just so amazing. Anyway, it was a gorgeous day for this engagement session, just how I like it! We started off at Yaddo gardens, which is one of the most beautiful places…ever! These two were so easy to photograph….they were giddy with excitement!!! I was having so much fun that I felt like I was on recess in kindergarten! These two brought one of the biggest props ever to an engagement shoot…a FIAT! This is Antonette’s dream car so she wanted to incorporate the car in their session. I loved the idea!

After walking around the gardens soaking in some of that delicious light, we decided to finish up downtown in Saratoga. We found a great little ally with some brick and vine-which looks so great on camera! I truly felt like I was hanging out with friends. Also, a special shout out to Alexandria’s beauty salon for making this bride-to-be look extra fabulous!! To the love birds…thank you, thank you, thank you!!! For choosing me to capture such a special time in your life… It means so much and I can’t wait until next year when you say ‘I Do!’
