It’s Wedding Wednesday!! Yay! Meet Gretchen and Talor…
Gretchen and Talor are such a beautiful couple and their Renaissance Hotel wedding in Albany New York this July was a gorgeous affair for sure!! With the help of Bisou Weddings & Events, Gretchen and Talor had a stunning classic summer wedding full of ivory and blush details that complimented the space perfectly at the hotel. The afternoon started off with both the bride and groom getting ready in their spaces – each with incredible Jimmy Choo shoes to wear for the day, if I might add!!! How awesome are those shoes?! Gretchen’s makeup team flew in from Miami – wow! They were awesome to watch! Gretchen’s daughter was the perfect flower girl. She hung out with the ladies while they got ready and she was so much fun – watching her mom and the dress carefully… with a few perfectly timed silly faces!! Gretchen chose a beautiful classic gown for herself and it was beautiful. Seriously perfect for her. Talor, a professional basketball player by the way!, looked amazing in his tux for the day!
Since Gretchen and Talor opted against a first look, the first time Talor saw his bride was when she entered the ceremony (so romantic!). It was definitely an emotional moment! After a ceremony that was full of family moments for the couple and Gretchen’s daughter, I stole the newlyweds away for a bit to capture some wedding portraits at a local park in Albany. I love spending time with couples after they’re first married – there’s something really special about those quiet moments when it’s first official for them!!
After their ceremony, the team transformed the space into a classy reception layout – including some couches along the dance floor. I’m all about that comfort! Renaissance Floral Design definitely knocked all of the centerpieces and floral accents out of the park! The reception was full of beautiful details – and can we talk about that wedding cake!!? Sooo pretty!
Gretchen and Talor, I’m so happy I was able to be a part of your big day! Congrats!
