Oh my friends….the sweetest little one year old is on the blog today! Maddalena has turned one!!! Leading up to this session I was chatting with Nicole (Maddalena’s mommy) and she sent this photo of a floral swing….and from that moment on, I knew this session was going to be magic! When I arrived to their home, they had some other set props that I was totally swooning over!

Maddalena looked absolutely adorable with her floral headband and matching outfit. She is seriously a baby model and I just adore her! We enlisted some help from Nicole’s mom… and wow is she awesome! She actually made the floral swing that you’ll see in the images below. I was smiling ear to ear because that is totally something my mom would do for me or my sister… family is everything.

It was a perfectly sunny day…which worked out great for photos. Down the road from Nicole and Nick’s home, there was a grassy area with several trees. We set up under some shaded spots which definitely helped with the heat! Nicole, Nick, and Maddalena…thank you so much for taking time out of your day to let me photograph this very special birthday.
