Father’s Day… it always shoots me right in the heart. It gets to me because I never feel like I can adequately express how much his love means to me. No matter how many pairs of fancy socks, or ties, or books, or bottles of wine I give … those gifts, while nice, just never seem to cut it. How do you thank someone for providing you with the best life has to offer? For giving you an opportunity to dream…and then cheering you on as your dream unfolds. For providing a warm and loving home… one that feels safe and joyous. A home that thrived on traditions and demonstrated loyalty. A place where you were encouraged during tough times and a hug was always waiting for you… Dad, I don’t know how to thank you, but today I am proud to celebrate you. To celebrate the love you have for our family in your heart…and may you always know you are in the center of mine.
