Happy Tuesday friends!! Today I am featuring newly engaged couple Jessica and Marcus! When I first talked with these two I remember thinking to myself, “Wow, they really seem like such an amazing couple! I hope they choose me as their photographer!” It wasn’t long after our initial conversation that they shared the good news with me! I was so excited! Needless to say when it was time to plan their engagement session I was over the moon to get them in front of my lens! We decided to shoot their session in Yaddo Gardens… one of my favorite places! Even though it was overcast and the flowers are not yet in bloom, I still love everything about Yaddo Gardens. The spring buds on the trees looked so pretty and the light I was able to capture truly made me one happy photographer! We utilized every little part of the garden and these two love birds sure made it look easy! I absolutely adore Jessica’s style! Her outfits were on point!! The dress she wore for the second outfit reminded me of the dress from Pretty Woman- the scene where Julia Roberts went to the polo match! I love it! It was so evident when watching these two together that they truly are a perfect pair…and I’m honored to be a part of their journey! Being a wedding photographer for you is about more than just capturing your day. It’s about becoming your friend and I really felt that connection with these two!!
